Dr. Ambrose works with all types of health conditions. She focuses on alleviating the symptoms while also treating the root cause. The beauty of Traditional Eastern Medicine is that by evaluating the pulse and tongue, each treatment is individualized for your body's condition at that exact time. This brings harmony back into the body; lessening symptoms or alleviating them completely.
In her clinic, Dr. Ambrose often works with Women's Health, such as menstruation issues or menopause; Fibromyalgia, and Common Pain Issues; such as Back Pain, Shoulder Pain, Sciatica, etc. She also is working with Stanford in researching the effects of acupuncture for Low Back Pain. Dr. Ambrose also works with trauma and the life long affects of Early Childhood Adversity and Stress. She created and currently volunteers at the Community Acupuncture Trauma Clinic, a monthly Community Clinic dedicated to trauma, such as the loss of a loved one, combat exposure, violence, or emotional abuse, etc. Dr. Ambrose has also created, The Caring Community: a safe space for community empowerment, providing workshops and classes for health, self - expansion, and expression. |

How Does Acupuncture Work?
Acupuncture is a natural healing method that is painfree and non-invasive. It has been used for thousands of years and is based on channels which enter every organ and run along the entire span of the body. The acupuncutre channels carry and use Qi, or energy, as a healing force of change, correcting the body's imbalances. Although Qi is most easily defined and translated as Energy, Qi is actually much more than this simple translation. Qi is relative in relation to context, just as yin is relative to yang and vice versa.
Science has found acupuncture to create benefitial healing effects in the body and the World Health Organization agrees that science has proven acupuncture to be helpful for over 100 different types of disorders.
